Junior Puppy
Puppies are welcome to join this class after their 2nd vaccination but must be 20 weeks or younger on the 1st day of training.
If your dog will be over 20 weeks on the 1st day of training, please register for the Beginner Class instead of this Junior Puppy Class.
We provide everyday life experiences, teaching positive reinforcement enabling your pup to become confident, well balanced and have basic foundation for future classes.
If your dog is not able to attend the first few weeks (i.e. awaiting the 2nd vaccination), we encourage you to still attend without the puppy to learn and familiarise yourself with training skills to start practicing at home.
Beginners
This class is for members with dogs 21 weeks of age and over.
This is our foundation class and must be completed by all members/handlers prior to advancing to the Intermediate and Advanced Classes. The class is for all dog ages to gain confidence, to encourage good behaviour and be able to socialise with people, other dogs and cope with everyday life experiences.
PLEASE NOTE: Even if you have completed training with another Dog Club, you will still need to complete the Beginner Class.
Intermediate
This class is for members of Joondalup Dog Training Club who have already completed the Beginner class.
Some degree of obedience is required.
Dogs will enjoy more mat work, loose lead walking and many more exercises to help overcome new challenges and dog behaviours.
If you have completed the Beginner class you will be eligible to join this class.
PLEASE NOTE: Do not register for this class unless you have completed the Beginner class with Joondalup Dog Training Club.
Advanced
This class is for members of Joondalup Dog Training Club who have completed both the Beginner and Intermediate classes.
These dogs may want to go a little further with training, try agility and learn to have fun with their owners. All our classes involve basic training, everyday life experiences i.e. sounds, sights, textures, rewards and accepting young children.
If you have completed the Beginner and Intermediate class you will be eligible to join the Advanced Class.
PLEASE NOTE: Do not register for this class unless you have completed the Beginner and Intermediate classes with Joondalup Dog Training Club
